Three affiliated pharmaceutical companies cited by NHSA for inflating API prices and siphoning funds
In 2022, China's National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA) reported that Tianxin, Jingxiutang, and the Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical General Factory, all under Guangzhou Baiyunshan, had inflated the prices of active pharmaceutical ingredients and artificially raised drug prices to siphon off funds, involving 87 drugs. The companies were ordered to rectify the practices and undergo price credit evaluations. The matter was confined to the companies and sales practices named in the notice.
