Fuji Yakuhin

Fuji Yakuhin is a Japanese compound pharmaceutical company that began in 1930 as a home-medicine (haichi-yaku) sales business in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture. It expanded sales territories across Japan from the 1960s through the 1980s, moved its head office to its current location in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture in January 1982, and began drugstore operations in March 1992. It also began manufacturing and selling medical-use pharmaceuticals in July 1992. The company states it has continued the tradition of home-medicine sales, delivering medicines manufactured at its own Toyama plant, and describes itself as a compound pharmaceutical company operating home-medicine sales, drugstore/dispensing pharmacy, medical-use pharmaceutical sales, and pharmaceutical manufacturing businesses.
