In September 1993 the Aoxing Food Factory was formally inaugurated, and in 1997 it was restructured into Henan Xinzheng Aoxing Industrial Co., Ltd. In September 1999 Haoxiangni Date Industry Development Co., Ltd. was established and formally adopted the 'Haoxiangni' brand, with its first specialty store opening the following year on Weier Road in Zhengzhou. In April 2005 the Haoxiangni industrial park in the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone was completed and put into use, and in 2006 the company established the China Date Culture Museum. In 2009 the company was wholly converted into Haoxiangni Date Industry Co., Ltd., and in December of that year the national standard for 'wash-free red dates' that Haoxiangni drafted passed review. In January 2010 the 'Haoxiangni' trademark registration was approved and authorized by the State Trademark Office. On May 20, 2011 the company listed on the Shenzhen SME board, described as China's first red-date stock.
