Taiji Group Co., Ltd. ("Guoyao Taiji") is a member enterprise of China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation ("Sinopharm"). Its predecessor was the Sichuan Fuling Traditional Chinese Medicine Factory founded in 1972; it was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1997 (ticker 600129.SH) and became a Sinopharm-controlled subsidiary through strategic restructuring in 2021. Guoyao Taiji focuses on modern TCM intelligent manufacturing with specialty narcotic/psychotropic chemical drugs as a supplement, and its business covers pharmaceutical R&D, pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical commerce, Chinese medicinal material resources, and international health industry. It holds 1,240 drug approval numbers and has more than 10,000 employees. The predecessor of Taiji Group Co., Ltd. was the Sichuan Fuling Traditional Chinese Medicine Factory founded in 1972. It was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1997 (ticker 600129.SH). In 2021, through strategic restructuring, it became a Sinopharm-controlled subsidiary.
