Shanghai Bookstore Publishing House

Shanghai Bookstore Publishing House is a publishing house located in Shanghai, People's Republic of China, established in June 1988. Its predecessors were the Shanghai Ancient Books Bookstore during 1960–1966 and the Shanghai Bookstore after 1978. From the period of the Shanghai Ancient Books Bookstore, it engaged in the photocopy publication of old and antiquarian books and periodicals. In the 1990s, it published a 400-volume, octavo full set of photocopied Shen Bao, which at the time was the largest publication since the founding of the People's Republic of China.
