History
TransTech Service (ТрансТехСервис, ТТС) was registered on 26 October 1992 in Naberezhnye Chelny, Republic of Tatarstan, by founder Vyacheslav Zubarev. The company's name reflected its initial focus on technical servicing of transport. Its first office was a three-room apartment in the 14th complex of Naberezhnye Chelny: the director's office was in the kitchen, the commercial department in a bedroom, and clients were received in the living room. Initial capital was formed from bank credits. In the 1990s, passenger car sales were largely conducted via barter schemes, with deals made in city parking lots. In 1993, ТТС signed a contract with AvtoVAZ. In 1995, it opened its first full-fledged auto center — a LADA showroom — in Naberezhnye Chelny, and also opened an office in Kazan. By mid-1997, annual sales exceeded 5,500 vehicles. In 1997, the company secured official dealership agreements with BMW's Russian representative office, became the first company to sign a direct dealership contract for Hyundai vehicle supply, and also signed an agreement with Daewoo. In 1998, a BMW dealership center opened in Kazan (fully renovated in 2019), and the company began operations in Ufa, selling domestic and foreign cars from a rented lot. Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, ТТС rapidly expanded its brand portfolio and geographic reach. Official agreements were signed with Land Rover (2000), Renault (2001), Toyota and Mitsubishi (2002), KIA (2004), Audi, Jaguar, Mazda, Ford, SsangYong, and Peugeot (2006), Porsche, MINI, and Chevrolet (2007), Opel and Subaru (2008), Lexus and Volkswagen (2009), GM-Avtovaz (2010), Skoda (2011), UAZ (2013), and Jeep (2014). By 2007, the company employed over 1,700 people, held dealership contracts with 12 foreign manufacturers, and operated a network of 27 showrooms. In 2010, sales reached 23,500 vehicles, a 52% increase over 2009. A second KIA dealership center opened in Kazan in 2011. By 2012, ТТС was an official dealer for 23 automotive brands, with 50 auto centers and 4 used-car showrooms across 9 Russian cities, employing over 4,000 people. In 2013, the company opened 18 new and reconstructed auto centers in Volga region cities (Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Ufa, Izhevsk, Cheboksary, Yoshkar-Ola, Sterlitamak, Almetyevsk), capturing 2.1% of the Russian market. In 2015, ТТС opened the first OFF-ROAD Park in Tatarstan for testing off-road vehicles. In November 2016, it acquired two auto centers in Orenburg from a bankrupt local dealer and began selling Renault and BMW there; revenue grew 27% that year. In 2018, a modern Volkswagen dealership center opened in Naberezhnye Chelny — the first Digital auto showroom in Tatarstan. In 2019, the company opened Megamall ТТС, a 7-hectare used-car sales site, the largest of its kind in the country at the time. In 2020, ТТС was included in Russia's list of systemically important enterprises, and its Hyundai dealership in Naberezhnye Chelny won the «Автодилер года 2020» award. Also in 2020, Daniil Zubarev, son of the founder, became director, while Vyacheslav Zubarev had served as chairman of the board of directors since 2008. By 2021, the group comprised 83 dealership centers for new car sales and 14 used-car sales centers. In 2022, two ТТС dealerships won at the «Автодилер года» awards: KIA ТТС in Naberezhnye Chelny was recognized as best in mass-segment new car sales, and Lexus ТТС as best in the premium segment. In 2023, the company opened 11 dealership centers in the Volga region and entered the top-100 best employers in Russia according to hh.ru. The year 2024 was a record for new dealership contracts, with brands ORA, WEY, EVOLUT, HAVAL PRO, SOLARIS, SERES, XCITE, JAC, GAC, BELGEE, KNEWSTAR, AVATR, SOUEAST, and JETOUR joining the portfolio. In 2024, ТТС set a record for the number of awards at the «Автодилер года» ceremony, winning in the category «Organization of used car sales»; individual dealerships also received awards. In 2025, ТТС again entered the top-50 best employers in Russia, ranking 3rd in the auto dealer industry and 38th overall, and became the leader among Russian auto dealers in the number of new dealership openings, with 23 new centers. The portfolio was expanded with brands such as Avatr, Exlantix, Geely, Hongqi, KGM, and Li Auto, and cooperation was expanded with Tank, Wey, LADA, Solaris, Changan, JAC, and Jaecoo.
