ÆON STYLE Sannou (イオンスタイル山王) is a general merchandise store (GMS) operated by AEON Tohoku Co., Ltd., a regional operating company of the AEON Group. It is located at 7-9-1 Sannou, Akita City, Akita Prefecture, on the site of the former headquarters of Akita Broadcasting System (ABS), along the Akita Teishajō Line (commonly known as Sannou Ōdōri). The store opened on March 20, 2025, after a pre-opening on March 18–19, 2025. The store is a two-story building. The first floor is directly operated by AEON Tohoku and is positioned as the "center of Akita's food culture," offering local products such as prefectural vegetables and fresh fish landed at ports within the prefecture, as well as products using local ingredients and a wide range of private brand (Topvalu) items. The second floor is a specialty store floor featuring tenants such as MUJI, a game field with crane games, KFC, Saizeriya, JINS, and Usachan Cleaning. By combining specialty stores covering clothing, food, and housing with a food supermarket, the store aims to appeal to a broad customer base. The location was chosen because it faces Sannou Ōdōri and is surrounded by government offices such as the prefectural office and city hall, residential areas, and Yabase Sports Park across the road, which is expected to attract not only local residents but also people looking for lunch, shoppers on their way home from work, and sports spectators from inside and outside the prefecture. Prior to the opening, a tree-planting ceremony was held on March 9, 2025, with participation from AEON Group employees and local residents, planting about 680 saplings of five species, including satsuki (the flower of Akita City), dōdan-tsutsuji, murasaki-shikibu, yamabuki, and kantsubaki. On the opening day, a ceremony was held in front of the store from 8:20 a.m., followed by a tape-cutting by officials and a greeting by AEON Tohoku President Masanobu Tsuji, and the store grand-opened at 9:00 a.m. The store is part of AEON Tohoku's regional strategy, which includes local product development and community engagement. It is one of the AEON STYLE format stores that AEON Group is rolling out to meet changing consumer needs.

ÆON STYLE Sannou is located on the site of the former headquarters of Akita Broadcasting System (ABS) in Sannou, Akita City. AEON Tohoku planned to open a store on the former ABS site. On December 24, 2021, ABS and AEON Tohoku concluded a 20-year fixed-term business land lease agreement. Construction began in March 2024, and a groundbreaking ceremony (jichinsai) was held on April 15, 2024. On July 3, 2024, a notification for the new construction of a large-scale retail store was submitted to Akita City under the Large-Scale Retail Store Location Act. On February 20, 2025, the store outline was announced at ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Akita. On March 9, 2025, a tree-planting ceremony was held, planting about 680 saplings of five species, including satsuki (the flower of Akita City), dōdan-tsutsuji, murasaki-shikibu, yamabuki, and kantsubaki.
