Æon Mall Kitatoda

Æon Mall Kitatoda (イオンモール北戸田) is a mall-type shopping center located in Toda City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It stands on the site of the former Bijogi Shopping Center and is developed by Æon Retail Co., Ltd. and operated by Æon Mall Co., Ltd., both part of the Æon Group. The mall opened under its current name in 2004 as Æon Kitatoda Shopping Center, was renamed Æon Mall Kitatoda in 2011, and has been managed by Æon Mall Co., Ltd. since 2013. Its core store is Æon Style Kitatoda, supported by approximately 140 specialty tenant shops. The facility offers a range of retail, dining, and service outlets, with a food court and restaurant zone. It is accessible by a 10-minute walk from JR Kitatoda Station on the Saikyo Line, and by bus from Minami-Urawa Station. The mall serves the local community in southern Saitama and is part of Æon's nationwide network of shopping centers.

The site of Æon Mall Kitatoda was originally occupied by the Bijogi Shopping Center, which opened on December 7, 1989, anchored by the Jusco Kitatoda store. The old Jusco Kitatoda store closed on January 12, 2004, and the facility was rebuilt. On November 17, 2004, the new Æon Kitatoda Shopping Center (with the new Jusco Kitatoda store) held its grand opening. On March 1, 2011, the core store was renamed from Jusco Kitatoda to Æon Kitatoda, reflecting the Æon Group's brand unification. Later that year, on November 21, 2011, the entire shopping center was renamed Æon Mall Kitatoda. On November 1, 2013, management and operations were transferred to Æon Mall Co., Ltd. On October 9, 2015, the core store Æon Kitatoda was renovated and rebranded as Æon Style Kitatoda.
