Controversy over the ZUS name and logo
A Malaysian conservative-affiliated Facebook page called for a boycott after alleging that the brand’s identity resembled Zeus. ZUS Coffee stated that its logo depicted Kaldi, the Ethiopian shepherd associated with coffee-origin stories, and that the name combined “zeal” and “us.”
