Rumors circulated among Kraków’s bourgeoisie that Zielony Balonik hosted orgies, nude dancing, and other forms of dissipation. The available account presents these as rumors rather than documented misconduct. The cabaret incorporated the gossip into its own comic mythology, notably through Tadeusz Boy-Żeleński’s bawdy poem “Pieśń dziadkowa.”
