Hushan Gold Mine explosion and delayed reporting at an indirectly held affiliate
In January 2021, an explosion at the Hushan Gold Mine of Shandong Wucailong trapped 22 people; 11 were eventually rescued, 10 died, and 1 remained missing, with the incident also involving delayed reporting. Wucailong is a subsidiary of an associate of Zhaojin Mining, so this is explicitly an indirect shareholding connection and should not be described as a wholly owned Zhaojin mine.
