KNF enforcement over asymmetric price slippage
Following an examination of activity between 2014 and 2016, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority fined XTB PLN 9.9 million. The regulator concluded that historical execution practices could disadvantage clients by applying losses asymmetrically and delaying certain orders. XTB denied wrongdoing and appealed; Polish courts ultimately upheld the penalty.
