Customer billing and cancellation investigations
Ohio's attorney general investigated complaints concerning billing, automatic renewals, cancellation procedures and customer solicitation involving Sirius XM. Other states and the District of Columbia reportedly expressed interest, while the Better Business Bureau recorded thousands of complaints during the preceding three years. The inquiry concerned the merged SiriusXM business rather than XM as an independent operating company.
