Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co. filed a recall plan with China's market regulator and announced a recall of 7,288 imported Jeep Wrangler vehicles produced from February 1, 2019, to March 10, 2020. The steering-column-lock wiring harness may wear through contact with the steering column tube, potentially causing loss of power steering or vehicle power and increasing collision risk. The company said it would inspect the wiring, install clips, or repair worn wires and install clips free of charge.

日前，克莱斯勒（中国）汽车销售有限公司根据《缺陷汽车产品召回管理条例》和《缺陷汽车产品召回管理条例实施办法》的要求，向国家市场监督管理总局备案了召回计划。决定自2020年10月30日起，召回2019年2月1日至2020年3月10日期间生产的部分进口牧马人汽车，共计7288辆。
本次召回范围内的部分车辆由于电子转向柱锁（ESL）的线束布置不恰当，线束可能会接触转向柱管并磨损。在特定情况下可能导致失去转向助力或车辆动力，会增加车辆发生无预警碰撞的风险，存在安全隐患。
