1959 World Series transmission interference
A former employee interfered with the relay equipment at WLUC's original microwave facility, disrupting the video portions of the first three broadcasts of the 1959 World Series while audio remained available. Michigan State Police arrested the former employee after a multi-day investigation, and the incident was attributed to retaliation after his dismissal.
