Nationwide Store Closures Spark Collapse; Tens of Thousands of Members Unable to Get Refunds

Since 2024, multiple Will's Fitness stores in various places have closed due to rent arrears and other reasons; all stores in Beijing and Chongqing were closed, and Chengdu stores were taken over. Previously, it attracted members to make large top-ups by promoting 'card purchases as wealth management' with claimed triple returns; some members were unable to obtain refunds of millions of yuan. As of July 2025, only two stores remained nationwide, and nearly 10,000 refund applications had no solution. Consumers filed collective complaints and lawsuits, but recovery was difficult.
