消费者组织Which?披露，不法分子通过“高度复杂的钓鱼攻击”劫持了Booking.com上合法房源的页面，其中包括“The London Crown”豪华公寓的虚假房源，其所示地址实际是塔桥附近的Wetherspoon酒吧The Liberty Bounds。一名顾客通过Booking.com支付73英镑为家人预订一晚，抵达时才发现地址是一家酒吧；Which?称Wetherspoon员工每天要劝退多达20名游客。Booking.com表示，攻击波及涉事房产自身的计算机系统，使网络罪犯临时获得了其Booking.com账户的未授权访问权限；另一处被劫持的房源“Apartments near Big Ben”则使用了下议院大楼Portcullis House的地址。据Which?统计，该虚假房源在8月和9月已累积250条负面评价。Booking.com称已暂停两处房产的预订并支持受影响顾客；Wetherspoon表示已将此骗局告知Booking.com，并再次要求永久删除该房源。
