Leakage and per-capita consumption data-reporting enforcement case
Ofwat concluded that Welsh Water had misreported data relating to leakage and per-capita consumption performance commitments for several years. The regulator also identified weaknesses involving management resources, planning and internal controls. Ofwat imposed a nominal penalty in light of undertakings that included customer redress valued at £39.4 million.
