Wanda Hotels in Dongguan and Harbin Penalized Over Improper Cleaning and Disinfection of Guest Supplies

In August 2025, Dongguan Wanda Vista Hotel was warned and fined RMB 1,500 by health supervision authorities because guest supplies were not cleaned, disinfected, or kept clean as required; the report noted that it had been fined RMB 5,000 in 2023 over a hygiene testing issue, making this a second public notice. Harbin Wanda Holiday Hotel was also warned and fined RMB 1,900 for failing to clean, disinfect, and keep guest supplies clean as required.
