Cultural objections to New Orleans expansion
Vodou practitioners and historic-preservation advocates opposed the proposed French Quarter shop, arguing that the company's name and imagery were culturally and religiously insensitive. The expansion plan was cancelled.

Unlawful firing finding after heat walkout
The NLRB found that seven workers fired after participating in a walkout over extreme indoor heat had been wrongfully terminated. The agency ordered reinstatement and back pay and also found improper employee surveying during union organizing.
