Extremism and assault allegations against activists
Russian prosecutors brought extremism-related proceedings connected to Voice of Beslan’s international appeal and additional cases, including allegations involving court bailiffs. Activists denied wrongdoing and said the cases were fabricated to suppress criticism of the authorities’ handling of Beslan.

Court-ordered dissolution and leadership dispute
