Football League scrutiny of creditor control
The Football League examined whether Vibrac had assumed an inappropriate role in running Reading without undergoing the Fit and Proper Persons Test. Reading was fined £30,000 in March 2015.

Controversy over Vibrac’s involvement in Reading’s proposed sale
After Reading appeared unable to pay a reported remaining £1.5 million balance on its Vibrac financing, the lender called in BGT to oversee the club sale. Reports that Vibrac influenced player sales, changed transaction terms and pursued a preferred consortium raised concerns that it was exercising control beyond that of an ordinary creditor.
