Wendy’s Frosties trademark dispute
The Wendy’s Company sued UDF in June 2013, alleging that UDF’s Homemade brand used the name Frosties and similar yellow-and-red presentation in a way that imitated Wendy’s Frosty products. The parties settled outside court, and UDF ceased using the Frosties name.
