San Antonio airport employee death and resulting lawsuit
A Unifi employee died in June 2023 after entering the path of a Delta aircraft engine at San Antonio International Airport. A passenger who witnessed the event filed suit against Unifi in August 2023, alleging emotional distress and negligent hiring, supervision, and retention. The case was dismissed by a federal judge in November 2024.
