NEXA Lending acquires UMortgage in asset purchase
NEXA Lending, a US mortgage brokerage platform, has agreed to acquire UMortgage in an asset purchase that has been signed and funded, according to NEXA CEO Mike Kortas. UMortgage will retain its brand, marketing identity and sales culture while moving onto NEXA's technology infrastructure, lender network and compliance platform; the UMortgage entity is expected to dissolve by the end of 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.

NEXA Lending has agreed to acquire UMortgage in an asset purchase, adding UMortgage's 246 loan officers and $2.05 billion in annual origination volume to NEXA's platform. Financial terms were not disclosed. UMortgage CEO Anthony Casa will join NEXA as an executive partner, and the UMortgage name will be dissolved as an entity by the end of 2026.
