Wiko technical-data collection
In November 2017, reports said that a pre-installed application on Wiko phones transmitted technical information to Tinno every month without customer consent. Tinno confirmed the collection system and said revised applications would stop collecting device-geolocation information.

Adups software and user-data transmission
In December 2016, reports said that an Adups application pre-installed on certain BLU phones transmitted user data to a Chinese server without customer consent. Tinno was listed among the brands whose phones contained Adups applications.
