Governance and property-related investor concerns

Myprotein acquisition litigation
THG sued Myprotein founder Oliver Cookson and an offshore trust over alleged overstatement of the business's profits before its acquisition. Cookson counterclaimed for breach of warranty and fraudulent misrepresentation. After a High Court trial, Cookson achieved an overall net result in his favour and the court ordered THG to make a substantial payment toward damages and costs. An appeal was dismissed in 2016.
