Samaritan's Purse funding controversy
Thankyou faced criticism after reports that up to 30 percent of profits could be directed to Samaritan's Purse, an evangelical Christian organization involved in international aid. Concerns focused on proselytizing, the organization's relationship to Australian aid-sector conduct expectations, and transparency. Daniel Flynn also acknowledged links to Planetshakers Church. Thankyou subsequently announced that it would no longer support Samaritan's Purse.
