Telenet CEO succession: Rocío Lorenzo to replace John Porter as of November 2, 2026
Telenet Group Holding announced that John Porter will step down as CEO as from November 2, 2026, handing the role to Rocío Lorenzo, an international telecom executive currently serving as Executive President and General Manager of Cable & Wireless Panamá. Porter will work closely with Lorenzo throughout the remainder of 2026 to ensure a smooth and orderly transition as Telenet becomes part of Ziggo Group, and Lorenzo will report to Ziggo Group CEO Stephen van Rooyen.

Telenet announces phased 5G network activation in Flanders
Telenet announced that it would begin phased activation of its mobile 5G network from 6 December, initially covering areas around Leuven, Antwerp, and the coast.
