Court-ordered property auctions in Jubok debt case
Following proceedings that began in 2008, the Dhaka Artha Rin Adalat ruled for the lenders and ordered auctions of mortgaged Jubok properties to recover a debt reported at Tk446 crore including interest.
2004
Fictitious infrastructure project and loan default
A Tk300 crore loan was reportedly obtained under Telebarta's name for a proposed project to build 250 mobile towers and related infrastructure. The project was later described as fictitious, and Jubok defaulted on repayment. The matter developed into a prolonged dispute with the lending institutions.
