Sexual-harassment allegations involving international affiliate leaders
A Canadian-affiliate volunteer alleged that the chief executives of the United Kingdom and Australian affiliates made inappropriate sexual remarks and directed inappropriate conduct at an international leadership conference. The executives denied wrongdoing or disputed that the conduct constituted harassment. Reviews commissioned by the relevant affiliate trustees did not find sexual harassment, although the United Kingdom review identified verbal abuse by a staff member who had been drinking.
