Alleged use of x264 algorithm in patent application
An x264 developer publicly alleged that a Tandberg Telecom patent application filed in 2008 described an algorithm contributed to the x264 open-source project shortly beforehand. Tandberg disputed the allegation, asserting independent discovery, and filed emails, an affidavit and an information-disclosure statement with the USPTO in 2011.
