Two Chongqing branches fined combined 1.36 million yuan for deceiving policyholders and other violations
On December 17, 2024, the Chongqing Regulatory Bureau of the National Financial Regulatory Administration fined Taikang Life Insurance's Chongqing Branch and Wanzhou Central Sub-branch 1.25 million yuan and 110,000 yuan respectively, involving issues such as fabricating false business materials, deceiving policyholders, off-contract benefits, and agent management. The penalized entities are the listed branches; relevant responsible persons were separately sanctioned.
