FINMA scrutiny of suspicious-activity reporting
Swissquote said FINMA had asked it to reduce the volume of suspicious-activity reports generated by its platforms, particularly Yuh, amid increased fraud attempts and hacking directed at the company. Swissquote stated that its systems had not been compromised.

SIX ad hoc publicity fine
The SIX Sanctions Commission fined Swissquote CHF 75,000 for a negligent breach of ad hoc publicity rules. The company did not appeal the penalty.

Geneva prosecutors investigated funds linked to the Helin tax-fraud network, which had been held through an omnibus account at Swissquote via Blue Ocean International Bank. Swissquote reported the account to authorities and related client accounts were frozen.
