History
Sunfire was founded in 2010 by Carl Berninghausen, Christian von Olshausen, and Nils Aldag with a vision of a world without fossil fuels. In 2011, Sunfire acquired the SOEC stack developer Staxera based in Dresden, Germany. In 2014, Sunfire opened the world's first industrial e-fuel plant at its headquarters in Dresden.
