Scrutiny of donor-supported policy coordination
Investigative reporting examined grant proposals submitted by SPN affiliates and portrayed them as evidence of a coordinated conservative policy agenda across numerous states. The reporting also discussed funding from foundations, donor-advised funds, and corporations. SPN maintained that its members were independent organizations and that donor privacy was normal nonprofit practice.
