History
Sparhawk Labs was founded in 1987 by one of the principal owners, John U. Bascom, Vice President and COO. Originally located in Kansas City, Kansas, the facility was a 10,000 square foot building which manufactured Internal and External Solutions for Animal Health. In 1990, Bert Hughes, President and CEO, joined Sparhawk as a principal owner. Over the years Sparhawk Labs has grown and relocated to Lenexa, Kansas. Its facility is a 150,000-square-foot manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution center. Today, Sparhawk has 110 highly trained employees and manufactures a full line of Generic Animal Health products which include Injectables, Internal/External Solutions, Powders, Tablets, and Boluses.
