Silicon Knights–Epic Games engine litigation
Silicon Knights sued Epic Games over the performance, delivery, documentation, and support of Unreal Engine 3. Epic countersued, alleging unauthorized copying and use of protected technology, trade secrets, and confidential information. The dispute became the defining controversy of Silicon Knights' later corporate history.
