Shuanghui and subsidiary receive administrative penalty over lincomycin residue exceedance in pork; company apologizes and pledges rectification

    Fine or penalty

Wangkui Shuanghui Beidahuang Food Co., Ltd. (75% held by Shuanghui Development) and the Shuanghui statement issuer ('our company') received administrative penalty decisions from government regulators after the subsidiary's pork hind-leg meat ('猪后鞧肉') was found in a Heilongjiang Provincial Market Supervision Administration sampling notice (2026 No. 7, earlier report dated 2026-05-25) to contain lincomycin at 7.70×10³ μg/kg, 37.5 times the ≤200 μg/kg standard; the subsidiary's objection to sample authenticity was judged invalid, and the regulator ordered local authorities to urge removal and recall of the non-compliant products. Shuanghui said it sincerely accepts the penalty, apologized to consumers and the public for serious management lapses, and announced rectification across six areas including source procurement controls, upgraded testing, production process control, professional staffing, full-chain safety system and staff training.

Stated objective. Comprehensively rectify and improve the existing food safety management system and effectively raise the company's quality and safety management level (as stated by Shuanghui).
