Acrylic Acid Reactor Deflagration and Undeclared Concentration of Undertakings
In the '6·23' reactor deflagration accident at Shanghai Huayi Acrylic Acid Company in 2013, the municipal government approved the investigation report and held responsible individuals and the company accountable; in 2018, Shanghai Huayi and Linde were fined RMB 300,000 for establishing a joint venture without legally filing the concentration of undertakings. Administrative penalties and accountability followed.
