Serostim off-label promotion and kickback allegations
Serono agreed to pay $704 million to resolve civil and criminal allegations brought by the US Department of Justice. The allegations concerned a scheme to promote Serostim for off-label uses and provide illegal kickbacks related to prescribing, in violation of US healthcare-fraud laws.
