Tindouf reporting controversy
RTVE declined to send a group of journalists to Tindouf for an event organised by the Polisario Front, where the journalists were expected to seek an interview with Brahim Ghali. The decision generated controversy and was followed by the resignations of the heads of international information at TVE and RNE.

Political influence and editorial-independence controversy
