Ofcom fines Royal Mail over delivery targets and stamp pricing

    Fine or penalty

In a controversy noted by regulators, Ofcom fined Royal Mail £1.5 million for missing its first-class delivery target in 2018 and £100,000 for charging above the regulated price cap for second-class stamps for seven days in March 2019.
