RHI Magnesita announced that Rajah Jayendran would succeed Gerd Schubert as chief operations officer effective October 1, 2021. Schubert will leave the Executive Management Team but continue working for the company on initial projects until retirement.

RHI Magnesita launched Ankral Low Carbon, a refractory brick with 14% reduced carbon dioxide. The bricks use used refractory bricks as a dead-burned magnesia source instead of raw magnesite.
