Forced labor and wartime exploitation
During the Nazi period and World War II, Rheinmetall factories used forced laborers, prisoners of war and concentration-camp prisoners. Historical accounts also describe a forced-labor maternity and children’s facility at Unterlüß, including the deaths of children born to forced laborers.
