Lifetime salary-payment contracts
Employment contracts issued between 1980 and 2001 reportedly omitted an end date for salary payments. In 2019, 37 contracts were said to remain active, while Rheinbahn stated that more than 100 had been issued in total. The company said it was pursuing amicable resolutions with the affected employees.
