RFD and Associates countersues Oklahoma Ethics Commission over terminated Guardian 2.0 contract
Lawsuit filed
RFD and Associates filed a counterclaim against the Oklahoma Ethics Commission in Oklahoma County District Court concerning the agency's termination of its contract to replace the state's campaign finance system. RFD alleged the termination was unnecessary and sought more than $1 million in unpaid labor plus $5.1 million for lost profits and business opportunities, totaling about $6 million. The Ethics Commission terminated the contract in December and sued RFD in January, alleging breach of contract, fraud and other claims.
