Regulatory criticism over vehicle-protection-plan report
SUSEP criticized a Quatro Rodas report that compared vehicle-protection plans with conventional car insurance. The regulator warned that the plans discussed could be illegal, might lack adequate financial guarantees, and could confuse consumers about whether they were purchasing authorized insurance.
