Defamation proceedings over workplace reporting
French courts issued mixed rulings in cases brought by Quantic Dream and its executives against Le Monde and Mediapart. The court recognized some claims against Le Monde but ruled in favor of Mediapart in parts of the personal action and rejected the company’s separate actions against the outlets.

Workplace culture and labor-practice allegations
A joint investigation by Le Monde, Mediapart and Canard PC alleged a hostile workplace culture, inappropriate sexist and racist imagery, excessive overtime, questionable employment practices and management misconduct. Quantic Dream, David Cage and Guillaume de Fondaumière denied the allegations and characterized the reporting as a smear campaign. Subsequent labor and defamation proceedings produced mixed results, including a 2019 employment tribunal finding against the company in a case concerning offensive workplace imagery, while other claims were rejected or overturned.
