Higashiyamato branch employee misconduct incident
Two part-time workers at Pizza-La's Higashiyamato branch in Tokyo posted images of themselves inside the store's sink and refrigerator. The images spread online, leading to a public apology, temporary branch closure, disposal of preserved foods, and cleaning and disinfection. Both employees were dismissed by the end of August.
